Spat Etiquette & Policies

MINORS

So that all guests may experience a pleasant and peaceful environment, we ask that only those receiving services accompany you to the spa.


Minors (guests under the age of 18) may only receive Mapahtia Spa services following written parental/legal guardian consent. Mapahtia Spa reserves the right to limit and/or prohibit services for underage guests.

Minor guests must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian in all areas of the spa including but not limited to the Dressing/ Room, Treatment Room, and Retail/Waiting area.

MASSAGE / RITUALS / BODY TREATMENTS

• Guests under the age of 16 must have a parent/legal guardian present during the entirety of the performed service(s).
• Minors may not receive treatments of body scrubs or mud wraps.

WAXING

• Minor guests must be 16+ to receive Bikini Wax and have a parent or guardian in the room.
• Minors may not receive Brazilian Wax.

PARKING

Free parking is available, located slightly right of  Spa's front entrance leading below to parking area. You're welcome to park in any spot that is not marked reserved and along the paved open space. You will need to go up a railing of stairs to access the Spa.

SPA RESERVATIONS 

To ensure your preferred appointment time, it is recommended you schedule your spa experience with as much advance notice as possible. Our professional staff allocates time especially for each guest, therefore, a credit card is requested to guarantee these reservations. All spa experiences are subject to availability. Menu service and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

SPA ARRIVALS 

To begin your spa journey in a relaxed grounded state, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. For a new guest, please allow 20 minutes to accommodate completion of your guest profile.  Spa robes, slippers, and beverages are provided for your comfort. Delayed arrival will limit the time for your experience, reducing the effectiveness of your treatment and the expectations of your visit. In consideration of other spa guests, service time will not be extended for delayed arrivals, and the full price of your service will be charged.

Please notify our staff if there are any special physical or medical needs or conditions they need to consider prior to your services (i.e. pregnancy, food , herbs, or product sensitivities or aggressive medications). We recommend that valuable items be left at home. Mapahtia Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

SPA CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING 

As a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation prior to your arrival. Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule reservations, a 24-hour advance notice is required. A 48-hour advance notice is required for any spa packages and multiple treatments lasting more than 2 hours. Insufficient notice to cancel or reschedule reservations are subject to charges up to full service value. All no show reservations will be assessed a charge at full value of services. Spa Parties are subject to terms of agreement for cancellations.

SPA PAYMENTS, GRATUITY AND GIFT CARDS

Payments are accepted in the form of Cash, most Major Credit Cards and Mapahtia Spa Gift Cards.

Gratuities are not included in the value of the services and are at the discretion of the guest.

 

Gift cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Any unused balance will remain on the card. It is not transferable and Mapahtia Spa is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorized use of the card. No express or implied warranties apply. PLEASE NOTE cash is limited on premises.

COVID POLICIES

We are delighted to share that you can relax in a spa robe and sandals for your massage. Beverage Station are available for your enjoyment.

We will always keep the health and safety of our guests and team as our top priority, which means:
• Maintaining our commitment to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitization.
• Mapahtia Spa is mask-friendly. Masks are optional. Your treatment provider will wear a mask upon request.
• Please, if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, kindly call to reschedule your treatment(s).
