Mapahtia was created as a space where therapeutic bodywork and intuitive healing come together- a sanctuary designed to support the body, the nervous system, and the deeper energetic layers we carry within.
I am a licensed massage therepist with advanced training in manual lymphatic drainage and therapeutic massage, with certifications and continued education in Vodder technique, Brazilian lymphatic body contouring, body sculpting, Klose training and post-operative lymphatic certifications specialty.
In addition to bodywork, I have completed a 3-year certification in Western Herbalism, allowing me to incorporate a deeper understanding of the body's system, natural healing processes, and plant based support into my rooted work.
My practice is deeply influenced by curanderismo and shamanic traditions, including elements of Toltec and Nordic healing practices. This foundation allows me to work with body in an intentional and supported way and connect with ones energetic blueprint with flow. Im here to understand the hidden language of our bodies and listen to its response and hold it back to natural alignment.
Mapahtia is not just a treatment room- it is an experience and preparer for growth. A space where you can slow down, be held, and receive care that is both deeply therapeutic and intentionally restorative.

Earlier today I had the opportunity to meet with Francine Oprescu , owner of MaPahtia. She has years of diverse, multidisciplinary experience in spiritual and holistic healing, blending beliefs and practices to create intentional methods and rituals focused on empowerment and healing.

I recently had the very best massage I’ve ever received and that’s saying a lot because over the years I’ve had many massages from many different places including overseas.On Tuesday, I reluctantly went to MaPahtia Spa because I was sent there for a massage as a birthday gift. Francine is amazing at what she does. She is very skilled, top notch in her field! I walked out of MaPahtia Spa feeling awesome, definitely better than when I went there.
